Re: League Name
Like Johnnie Cochran would have said, "If they're still in the game, you can't use their name."
Of the game in this case is life not just football and it looks like I am in the minority thus far anyhow. |
Re: League Name
I voted to allow the div's to pick their player, it's not a bidg deal to me (though I liked the theme of honoring the recently deceased that were class acts).
Heck as fierce as Butkus was on the field he's an absolute creampuff (in oh so many ways) off the field. You guys are giving us lotsa material to use against you in smack talk! :) |
Re: League Name
I agree, the theme of the fallen hero's is good, but I wouldn't be a stickler on it. However...
Two letters fellas... ED. |

I think they are confusing him with Ditka.

Re: League Name
Randilover, sorry about that. I was trying to quote and hit the wrong button. grrrrr. not used to all these new powers I have. that's what I get for trying to type a reply and do 'real' work as well.
ED? Ed or E.D. as in Eric Dickerson? |

Didn't he have a stint on Different Strokes too? Maybe that was more Ditka. Either way, the fodder for that division may be huge as Preds keeps pointing out. |

Dude. All I can say is stap it up and step on the field with him.
I am sure even now he could tear you all apart. |
Re: League Name
Looks like each division has their own naming rights....
