I would guess our game comes down to the Monday nighter...Bell via trade versus Mixon via draft...I'm just hoping for a chance...

Looking at my team and I just don't see a long winning streak or striking fear in any opponent...*sigh* bad defensive matchups and no real TE to speak of...should have bid a little more on Walker I guess...my guys really need a rest...do they have one more in them...is the coach thinking too much...can I really start 2 WR versus my defense??? UGH!!!!

That does suck with your DEF #2 against pass going against 2 WRs. Guess that DEF has to score a couple TDs and give up a few for max value.

And yes you should have bid more on Walker as i was asleep at the wheel on that one.

I wish I had a way to keep him. I had to dump him to make room for 3 WRs. Tried to trade for a 3rd round pick with no luck

These "experts" almost have me starting ATL defense at home vs Vikes...now me being a Min fan don't like it one bit...plus Emerald has Diggs going...hmmmm...I'll have to look at that for the 100th time....and now Witten killing me....

A lot of those "experts" are really bad at their jobs. How many people have jobs where they can be wrong that much and still have jobs. Just think how much $ psychics could make if they were really good at their job.

Speaking of starting lineups, Swords had WR Seth Roberts via note and he had 7.1 points. Could make a difference in All play wins for someone and playoff implications.

With Baltimore breathing down their necks? If Brown can walk, he'll play...no way they rest him unless its serious enough that playing could aggravate it to the point of having to sit out multiple games...

So Cards lose the division by around a half a point. Pretty much same as the Preds who lost 2 games by under 1, including one against the Bees who won the division by a game.

Tie-Breakers are going to be a bear for spots 4-6.

Swords somehow find there way defending their title as the top seed despite a losing All Play record. Amazing matchup luck.

Bees are 2 seed with the Cards loss. Rookie Ref roosters win the West and the 3 seed.

4 and 5 have. 3 way tie between Cards, Dogs and Preds

Not sure how the tie is broken. Cards have total points lead so I think they’re 4 seed. Preds have next highest points but lost Ron dogs H2H, not sure what precedence of tie-breaking order is in place for the 5 seed under a 3 way tie.

If Dogs are given 5 seed Preds are the 6 seed with 89 All Play wins. If Preds at ethe 5 seed than Dogs with 74 All play wins barely sneak in as the 6 seed.

The big question is do we sort the 3 ties teams into seeds 4 and 5 first based on total points, or do we sort for the 4 seed, and then start over for the 5 seed with the 2 remaining teams based on H2H. Sorting over gives the Dogs the 5 seed. Sorting 4 and 5 as one tie breaker gives the the Preds the 5 seed.

Commish Jim needs to guide us on how to apply the 4-5 tiebreakers. I’m honestly not sure how to proceed.

Everyone is 1-1. Preds beat Cards lost to Dogs. Cards beat Dogs lost to Preds, Dogs beat Preds, lost to Cards.

If all are tied H2H, then #4 would be total points leader between the three teams. For #5 go back to H2H, division record and total points between other two teams. Sounds like #6 would then be the remaining team unless another team has a better all-play record.

Well the rules say this:

12C. Qualifying/Seeding Tie-Breaker

The Leagues tie-breaking system for play-off qualification and seeding is as follows:

1. Head-to-head record
2. Division Record (between teams from the same division)
3. Total Overall Points
4. Coin Toss

Maybe this was covered in the discussion and its to confusing for me to recognize it.

Congratulations to all of the playoff teams... the Opihi have a LOT of off-season work to get started on... coming off one of the worst (if not THE WORST) seasons in our history. Ugh.

You might want to show the troops that matchups on any given week make a huge difference in an effort to keep their spirits up. The 11th seeded 3-11 Opihi had just 1 fewer All Play win than the top seeded 10-4 Liquid Swords!

So yeah...losing by less than 1 point is a bummer, but Mixon going down was the only reason it was that close...who knew starting Daulton or Brate would have secured a W??? Those 2 were never gonna be in my lineup...lets talk about the other ridiculous plays that effected our game...Kansas City and the meltdown caused the ball to freely move closer and closer to the goal line so Emerald QB could plunge another one across...thank you KC defense...don't even get me started on NY Jets porous defense...Lynch goes for over 100 and a score??? Really??? C'mon man, dude is retired on active duty - sure he dresses for every game and collects a check, but he is done and now he pulls this off against my Cards???? Marquis Lee and Blake Bortles are now the Joe Montana to Jerry Rice combo??? Ok, I'll admit I missed that one and Emerald is to be applauded for seeing through the mist to devine that call....so yeah, I was a tiny bit miffed to in the end only lose by less than 1 point....

BUT....the playoffs are a new season and there are so many more ways to win or lose games in these final few weeks...my matchups are tough and I see other owners have the same issues, so we will throw our guys out there and try to get more points than our opponents until a champion is crowned....all this while Sword is apparently the NE Patriots of Frenzy....they just keep rolling along winning when they have to and collecting rings...I guess to old axiom is true - you have to BEAT the champ to BE the champ....

I can't decide between my mainstay Brees or Carr vs a rotting KC defense that just suspended their best db...that defense is a sieve right now...but I am having hard time benching Brees and I shouldn't with the resurgent runners...but if that game tonight turns into a shootout...I'll be pissed....now Witten is rated higher than Brate, but Winston seems to like Brate...and you have Dak and I can cancel out some of his numbers with Witten..Ugh...decisions decisions...

I love how the 7 point home field advantage comes up every post season... by mostly the same owners. If you want to change it folks, suggest a rule change. Otherwise... #letitgo lol

As long as we all play by the same rules it's fine by me :)

The more I've played over the years I like 1 point for a head to head win and 1 point for finishing in the top half for that week. Seems to make it more fair over all. I hate when I have 2nd or 3rd highest score and lose that week. That way head to head still counts but so does being better than the field. Just my thoughts...

Of course this is for the regular season... A little off topic lol

That is why we have the 6th seed based on All Play record. All Play is about as true a measure as you can get of a team's overall performance week in and week out throughout the season.
