I've added new Post Icons and Smiles for Matches and Declines.

# Matched (no space) = #Matched or # Declined (no space) = #Declined and can be used within posts.

Admins can also choose the same images for post icons when editing the post titles.

It don’t matter if you are on the top of the bid list if the bid isn’t high enough to pry the player from the former owner...

These TE's will be putting current owners to the test! #WinkTongue

Just wondering how many I will end up with, if any. #Pirate

Re: 2020 Frenzy Official RFA Commentary

I'm wondering if I tendered Tyler Higbee too low and Amari Cooper too high?

I love Higbee and expected him to get some action, but not quite as much as he's received. Is he a 5 game wonder, or for real? He is a textbook definition of boom or bust, but as of now is going to be paid as the #4 TE (albeit still half the price of the big 3 TE's). All that said, I'm entirely not ready to decline him and very well may match, Time will tell if he is worth a top 4 contract. Question is, are others truly as willing as I to actually pay that much? Or might I reconsider and decline seeing as I have Hooper and a potential young emerging TE sitting on my PS. Decisions, decisions!

Cooper on the other hand is a top 10 WR, I'm surprised he hasn't been bid on but will happily keep him if he sells at the tender!

Question regarding salary cap...
The rules have a slight conflict (or I misunderstand a rule)
Section 8A:
Once a team tenders a bid, that player is considered part of their active roster and the tendered salary counts against the teams cap until either matched or declined at the end of the bidding.

3) Until an RFA player has started the bidding process, his salary is counted towards the tendering owner (the initial declaration amount).

So, when does the salary drop from the tendering teams salary cap? After Decline/Match or once an initial bid is placed?

It's the later. Original rule was the former, and we voted a change to make RFA bidding less restrictive as it deflated the market with so many cap dollars tier up until a player was matched or declined. We clearly missed updating that section in the last rules update.

Here's the 2015 rules vote that made a 2014 trial of the change permanent.

Interesting...for Pred anyway...keeping both Cooper and Higbee with their assured pay increases from 2019 along with every other player cbs increase along with rookie draft still to come, put the squad capologist in the nut house...guess we will see where the blade falls and who hits UFA down the road...

Of course no one expects you to actually keep either...Higbee was a 100% bust on his rookie contract for me...he can go to hell as far as Cards are concerned...Cooper disappearing act last season weeks 11, 12, 15, 16 cost Preds better playoff opportunities - not sure why showing any loyalties to him as a consistent performer???

We strongly disagree with you on Higbee, he was an absolute stud down the stretch, question is, was it just a flash in the pan, or did he take the ball and establish himself as the real deal? We lean heavily towards the latter.

As for Cooper, numbers don't lie. He is a low end WR1, yet for the Preds he'll slot in as our WR3 behind stud WRs Mike Evans and Michael Thomas, with Marvin Jones, AJ Brown and Will Fuller battling it out to be WR4 each week. We'd happily welcome Cooper back as a key part of the deepest WR corps in the league.

FWIW, I said on his rookie deal...maybe DB will spread the ball around more this year since no one cares what he thinks...

Fair enough. TE's notoriously are late developers, so I can understand your frustrations that he didn't work out under his rookie deal.

Higbee has gone a lot higher than I'd hoped, but I haven't shut the door on retaining him just yet. That decision is still to be made!

We'll see who I end up matching or declining, I went into this hoping to retain at least 2 of our 3 RFA's. We'll see which 2 that ends up being!

THAT right there is how you review someone’s 2019 roster and then smack down on a RFA to force a decline on the old owner...well done!!! Now let’s see how it pans out...

Barely an hour to spare before you would have lost Russell Wilson. I was kinda sorta hoping he’d leave the division! LOL

Tit for Tat with Ramsters opening bidding on Lutz and Chickens quickly following suit by opening up bidding on Goff?

Didn't even notice Lutz had been put out there, or that Ramsters owned the rights to Goff.. Just noticed my two crappy QBs both have same bye, so thought I would add another crappy QB

Just a reminder: RFA Bidding ends tomorrow - any players not put out for bidding before then will automatically go to the RFA owning team at the posted level salary. Any players in play at that time will continue as normal until winning bid has been completed, and owner has made MATCH/DECLINE decision.

I think that I'm happy to keep Diggs for $1400??? Anyone know something that I don't know or did everyone blow their wad before he was thought of?

There are a number of RFA wide receivers still left in the starting blocks. Not sure... but also, glad to get my two back at tender price, if it happens.

I don't get it myself. I was going to bid on him had I declined Amari. Sammy Watkins is the other WR I debated bidding on, but happy with our stud WR lineup (Thomas, Evans, Cooper, Marvin Jones and AJ Brown), and need to save every cb now with the huge percentage of cap (presently 64%) I've devoted to 5 WRs!

At 350, I'm glad to get Sammy back. He will fit in nicely with my other WRs.

I think 350 is a bargain for Watkins. I was going to open him at 600 or 700. He shined in the playoffs and should have a much better year this year than last. Alas, I have no cbs left to buy more toys!

I was on the fence between tagging him or Lindsey. Thought I would rather keep Watkins because of the KC offense and the way he performed in the playoffs. Glad to have him back.

You don't have him back yet. Someone could still open him before midnight. ;)

So... less than 10 hours away. I think I got him. It's doubtful that someone will bid this late. Although that Tannehill bid came late in the RFA process...
So.... I guess it's possible that someone can save me from having to keep him...

Gotta keep people guessing as to what I'm thinking.
Don't want anyone to steal him if I want him..... Or avoid him if I want to dump him..
