Man seems like robbery (Turner locked up that cheap for a second round pick). Am I missing something?

Must be me that's missing something. Unless LT gets hurt or Turner gets traded, who's going to be using Turner as an RB2? Even if he gets traded to say Cleveland, which unless the Bolts draft another RB is very unlikely, who's to say he becomes a super stud? How many of you are still on the Lamont Jordan, Ruebhan Droughns band wagons...they were the next coming before this year. It was unlikely that I would have put an FA tag on him, so I would have just gotten into a bidding war with the rest of you, which from the sounds of it, would have gotten to at least 1K....:Bla

This is all agreed, but with Turner being a hot prospect, you might have been able to get more than a low 2nd for him, and I think that is what people are balking at, especially considering the cheap, bonus free contract he comes with. (At least I am).

Given SD's past record, They'll probably let LDT go for nothing and play Turner. j/k

p.s I probably would have given a 2nd bu not more

Wow!! Didn't realize you all held him in such high regards. I guess I should have tried to rip you all off before agreeing to the deal. But I seriously don't see how I am tipping the scales of competitivness here. I've had him for 2 years, and have only used him once.

It's not like we're accusing you of collusion or anything. Just voicing our opinions of the trade. Personally, I would have just rather seen him traded out of the division, but it's all good.

Sore losers!

Should've asked and Burt knows I've been bugging him forever about Turner.

:agree

I don't think it's anywhere near collusion, and never implied that. STUPID, well yeah, I think it was a DUMB trade, and yet another great deal on Frank's behalf (still scratching my head on WTF Noah was thinking on the Driver deal). Trades like that, and like I used to pull off in Frenzy, do wreck the comptetive balance some IMO. They're great for the receiving team, but bad for the league as a whole. I've learned that finally, and these days don't even look at trades unless folks come to me.

Anyhow, not implying anything other than Burt should have shopped an asset with such a cheap contract before giving him away for a late 2nd, especially in this league where that contract can be renegotiated by the receiving team. Frank makes out like a bandit, but I've been there and done that in the past as well, good for him.

No objections, here your honor. But yeah, I would've been all over Turner for more than a 2nd and an expensive LB (I actually view that part as a slight negative but that's just me)

Turner will be an RFA this offseason IIRC. Very good chance he goes somewhere where he'll get to play.

Besides, Frank's team is going in the tank starting this week, and I'll end up with a middle 2nd rounder 3stooges

:burt out....
