Signing Shaun and letting LT go last year was absolutely, without a doubt, the worst move I've EVER made in the Frenzy. IMO opinion at least.

While I fully expect a complete rebound from him this year, and 2900 is a GREAT price for a player of his caliber, I just can't get over the bitter taste in my mouth from last season.

His departure from the Preds was written in stone the day we aquired Frank Gore to pair with MJD. Heck, I almost cut him outright at several points last season out of spite.

Thus, the Parkwood Predators are taking our lumps, and offically DECLINING TO MATCH the Insects 2900cb contract to Shaun. May he resurface as an elite player upon his return to the Bay. Best of lluck to ya Frank. Great player when healthy, just not in my plans.

Shaun may or may not be a great player again. The possibility that he may not I think makes his 2900 salary unjustified. While in a redraft, he's still a top half of the first round pick, that doesn't mean his salary should be as close to the other guys at the top in an auction. JMHO.

Yeesh, it's not like I wa in any way transparent about it!

I dind;t think for a minute any of you thought I'd match.

That said, it was fun to pretend!

I'll also add I think he's worth the 2900, but with Gore and MJD, my dollars were better spent elsewhere.
