2007 SACD RFA Commentary

Holy crap is this boring. What the happened here? I hope the rookie drafts don't go down like the RFA bidding (between the Frenzy and the SAC'd this seems to be taking forever).

I can abrely keep up managing my Frenzy team, really havent had a chance to even think about an 07 strategy for my SACD team, that'll likely wait till later in the week before I jump in the pool.

700 for Chris Chambers?

That guy is a bum.

Re: 2007 SACD RFA Commentary

Chambers would have had better numbers will Ryan Leaf at the helm (or me for that matter). See what he can do if they get Green in there.

You guys are killing me...I almost franchised Wayne, but I thought no way he'd go over 2800...silly me....I hope there are still 3 decent players at the end of 1st round draft....

I may yet enter the frey for LT.

6000 seems like a nice round number for him. What do you think Burt?

So where is Banco de Doggler? He's the one with Bill Gates-like financial resources.

:BS :taz :smash: I guess this is the screw the Floyds show this year. First, all 3 of my RFA's get taken to unreal prices, then all 3 of my initial bids get bumped, for the first time, hours before expiring!! I see how things are going to be......:furious:wallbang:kill:

:Sorry about the last minute bump. I don't like doing that, and would have done it sooner but that bid stretches my limits, and I was hoping someone else would bump him, but that's too good a price to pass up.

Well, I just don't think those players could be allowed to sell at those prices. You weren't going to get them anyhow, they were easy matches at those prices.

In the case of Jason Taylor, the tendering team can now kick themselves in the ass for not Franchising him now that I've bid him above the Franchise level.

What was the amount for a DL? It was over $500 right? That was more than I was (am) willing to spend on a DL that while productive is getting old(er). I would rather have a pick than an overpaid DL (since I was paying Taylor a bit too much last year even though he was very productive).

I think we have our first sale in the SAC'd. Mr. Reggie Wayne is waiting to see if he returns to Colorado.

FYI, your new here, so I'll give you a polite headsup (if you were a vet I'd be ripping on you hard ;)) to please keep comments out of the bid threads (unless a bid is enclosed). It messes up the timestamps for tracking when a player is due to sell.

TIA

Mike

BTW, I split your comment out of the McGahee bid thread and merged it here in the RFA Chat thread where it belongs.
