FYI, he is still in play. The clock was frozen at 11:59pm EST Saturday night. A new 24 hour clock will begin at midnight tonight.

Relevant rules section:
If a player's 24 hour challenge period hasn't expired prior to 11:59pm on Saturday, bidding on that player will suspend until the following Tuesday at 12:00am when the 24 hour clock will resume.

If a bid is made on any player between 12:00am Sunday and 11:59pm Monday the bid will be treated as if it were made on Tuesday at 12:00am and the 24 hour challenge period will not begin until that time. Also note, that for players involved in Thursday or Saturday games, the clock will suspend the evening prior to their game(s) at 11:59pm and won't resume until the following Tuesday at 12:00am.

Please keep comments outside the bid threads (unless of course they contain a bid as well).

Otherwise it screws up the quick reference of when a guy will/won't sell based on the time of the last bid in the thread.

BTW, Matt's bid is valid, and treated as if he bid tonight at 12:00 am. The earliest Young can now sell is 12:00 am Wednesday morning.

Ah!!! I knew we weren't supposed to post in threads w/o a bid, but I thought the reasoning was because there shouldn't be any commentary on a live guy. I never even thought of the time-stamp issues. Makes perfect sense.

Yeah, he left me a message at work while he was in transit. I saw I had a message and almost did a few things before I checked it. We'll see how much money that split decision is going to cost someone.

Were you internet less for the prior 23 hours and 56 minutes? Why wait so long if you knew for certain you wanted him in play? Are you trying to drag him out to the la-la no mans land that is a weekend bid?

Yep, freezeland was a necessity for me. I want/need him, but not this week. With 6 starters on the bye and 4 one-week pickup players starting this week, I had no room whatsoever to roster him this week. Next week, different story.

Haha, sorry for the tease and making you think you almost had him, but no way was anyone getting him this week (unless it was me).

Then again, I got sidetracked on an errand on my way to work that morning and my plans almost fell apart, so I guess you were actually closer than I ever intended.
