Well, I'm not giving him away. With Coles, I feel like Curtis is more expendable, so I thought that would at least find out what the interest level is. The deal didn't change when I posted this, and I'm still satisfied with it. And just for the record - I also got his 2.9 for this year.

Call me crazy, but I'd much rather have a younger and still emerging Curtis with Donovan McNabb at QB than an aging Coles with Kellen Clemmens at QB.

The "aging" Coles is a mere 6 months older than the "younger" Curtis.

:shrug: I've never looked at their years of birth. I remember when Curtis was drafted, because I was at the pre-season game when he busted his leg in his rookie season. That doesn't seem THAT long ago, so perhaps I'm basing it on persnal memories.

Coles just seem weathered and old to me (though I've always liked him as FF player).

Coles probably seems older because, despite being almost the same age, he has had 7 productive years in the NFL, compared to about 2 for Curtis. For me, that makes Coles more valuable.

I can't argue with you in terms of productive years, though Curtis was behind a couple future HOF'rs whereas Coles had nobody in front of him. Few expected Curtis to supplant Bruce or Holt.

I'm a fan of both players... but I like Curtis' situation better for now and the future.
