2009 Draft?
 

Are we starting this today? With all the different time zones and people checking in at different times (and the fact that the Frenzy looks to be delayed) I just wanted to check. TIA!

I thought it was still on for May 11th as well. I never saw I time posting so maybe it's later...but since it's just a message board I figured it could start whenever. I've done a couple rookie drafts so far and there were a good number of surprises....to me at least....so I am curious on how this goes.

I think it can start whenever. I am pretty sure the RFA period is done here (SAC'd) so it is just up to the Clowns to post pick 1.01.

doesn't it specificy in the rules? All times stated will always be Eastern, since Mike started these leagues, and he lives in NY, thus made sense to him.

Just checking in after 7 days of work in Orlando, so I need to check my notes...not sure if I stated when official start date is, but Clowns can post thier pick anytime between now and whenever official clock hits the official time limit...

I think it started at 12 AM today. I think there is a 24 hour clock so they are good until midnight. I was just curious because in the past I kind of remembering people picking either a little early or right after we went live. No big deal I am just itching to pick at 1.02.

Monday May 11th at 12:00am (the 2nd Monday in May each year) this allows about 3 weeks for the NFL draft to be evaluated - Rookie Draft Begins

Once the rookie draft begins, teams will have 24 hours to make a selection if the previous selection was made on Monday through Thursday, and 48 hours to make a selection if the previous pick was on a Friday or Saturday.

Please everyone read the rules section on Rookie Draft.

So, yes, clock is officially running now.....
