Gunslingers were in violation as they did not have room for all their rookie assignments

What? Huh? Are we talking about forgetting to add Mike Sims-Walker to my active roster in the declarations post? If so I responded to Pat's note to clarify on the board. I don't mind losing Obie but want to make sure I understand why I am losing him.

your posting of your move of Walker to active was done after the deadline, thus your TS squad was in violation. The penalty is what we voted on during the offseason. We decided to do it this way, rather than having a team not declaring a rookie (like Dodgers did last year with Stewart) losing that rookie.

If you feel the punishment is unfair, plead your case. I am always willing to change my rulings if they are unjustified or something more fair can be done

just noticed this one too...what's the ruling here? i just thought he loses Walker since he wasn't declared...why does he lose Obe too?

It was Mike Thomas not Walker...

No, he lost Obe because his rookie declarations were not done correctly...he did not lose Thomas...

This stuff is complicated enough...with last years fiasco, rather than losing a high draft pick because of messing up your assignments, then we voted to penalize teams in this manner.
