3.14 - WR Armanti Edwards, CAR

Former QB of Appalachian State... now converting to WR... great speed... tremendous athlete... we'll see if he can make the transition! Training camp will be exciting, that's for sure!

PS. He was a THIRD ROUND pick by the Panthers... so he's definitely sticking with the team!

Panthers general manager Marty Hurney was so determined to get Edwards that he traded next year's second-round pick to New England for the Patriots' third-round choice, where they snagged the Greenwood native.
