Yes, he's injured and won't play for you this year. However, he is signed for 1 year at $404 so he can be reneged to your choice of years (up to the max of 5) and will only cost $554 this year and $609 in 2011. If you acquire him and reneg him you can put him on the IR and only have a $280 or so cap hit for 2010.

Wow is he at $720 in the Frenzy as a FA and not so much as a nibble here? Yes, there would be a slight cost here (draft pick) but the salary is less...
