1.04 RB T.J. Duckett, Atlanta
 

The Royal Hawaiian Opihi, in their innagural draft in the Feeding Frenzy League, select mammoth RB T. J. Duckett from the Atlanta Falcons.

The management was debating between QB David Carr and Mr. Duckett... but a last minute push by future teammate Warrick Dunn pushed the Opihi towards Duckett. Said Dunn, "I had to have him on my team! I'm the lightning, he's the thunder... he's the rock, I'm the roll... he's Pumba, I'm Timon... He's the bread, I'm the butter..."

The managment will no longer be having Mr. Dunn speaking on behalf of the team....

Great comments by Dunn! However, I really was looking to see Omar Easy go here.

The management seriously considered Mr. Easy... along with Mr. Applewhite (the only names garnering any votes in the interactive poll)... but since there was not an overwhelming ground of support from the fan base for Mr. Easy, we decided to take Duckett over Easy.

I'll return the Opihi's compliment: I think Duckett is a great pick-up if you already have Dunn. Nice job of enhancing the value of your pick.

Had I not already had Dunn, there's no way I would have picked Duckett in the #4 overall spot. But felt I couldn't lose on this one. I'll stick Duckett on the Developmental Squad for a while and see how the situation plays out in Atlanta.
