Well he did have over 4K of cap space in 2011. That should disappear in a couple of years.

well even if he comes close to this years numbers, would anyone else pay those kinds of numbers ?

Hmmm....yeah, it's hard to knock someone for locking up one of the best players but it seems like it could be an issue if (or when) the performance declines as the price goes up a lot.
