Opening Date for Trading *** PASSES ****
 

In our rule book, there is a defined date where trading period ends, but no mention of when it opens back up.

I think we all assumed that as soon as the season ended, we can open up with trading again. Anyone disagree?

I created a poll.

Yes = you agree that Trading opens back up after Frenzy Bowl championship game has completed.

No = do not agree, but agree something needs to be done and we can discuss further

Really don't care as long as it is after the Championship.

There are risks to trading this early.

My one hesitation is maybe moving the trading opening to match the "Check-In" time for the up-coming season. Not sure there's an official "Check-In" time but there probably should be.

That way an incoming owner doesn't get screwed by an owner who ends up disappearing the next year.

I don't think there really is a specific date. I think we generally start checking in month or so before the rookie draft.

Honestly I could use a little down time after the bowl and the start of the season. I like the idea of agreeing on a check in time and opening trading then.

I agree with Frank and I could use a little down time as well as I'm always swamped through a week or two after the NFL Super Bowl with work.

What about a March 1 check-in and trading open date?
