Now this part of the rule does not make any sense to me....how can a player bid on Sunday, sell before a player bid on a Saturday? Just does not make any sense...

I'm with you Burt. I think it should be a flat 48 hour rule.

During the offseason UFA period, only bids on Friday & Saturday have the 72-hour waiting period on them (per our rules). Sunday-Thursday bids have the 48-hour waiting period.

This was set up so that people can have their weekends without having to be checking the message boards. It also allows people to come back on Monday and make any bids they'd like before the Fri/Sat bids clear.

However, this does mean (as you have so aptly noticed) that bids on Sunday MAY SELL BEFORE bids made on Saturday. However, there's still the 48-hour window that must be fulfilled.

Once we get to IN-SEASON bidding, Tuesday through Friday bids are 24-hours waiting. Saturday & Sunday are 48 hours. Again, allowing for a weekend free of checking the bulletin boards.

It's been that way for years... we just don't have many occasions like this where Sunday bids sell before Saturday bids.

I like the rule now! I got a good Def at a bargain price.
