Rules overview
 

With the UFA period set to kick-off Sunday can we get a quick refresher on the rules and anything that may have changed since last year. Also, please clarify that no one signed as a FA (going forward) is eligible for the DS. Thanks.

You could also check out the Rules thread as a whole. Off the top of my head, changes to keep in mind would be:

-Yes, any players signed in free agency (restricted or otherwise) are not eligble to be placed on your DS.
-5 of the 18 roster spots are dedicated to TE, K, and D. You may not carry more than 13 combined QBs, RBs, and WRs.
-The contract year cap is 38.
-The CB cap is $10,500.
-Penalties for exceeding the roster limit have been clarified and WILL be enforced (emphasis aimed at myself).
-While not really required to remember for the FA period, the playoff pool has been reduced to 4. It may affect your strategy if you were shooting for a roster that would compete for the #6 seed.
-Every team is required to carry at least 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 D on their roster during the season (8/15 forward). Failure to do so will result in penalties.
