You have 24 hours to assign contract and makes cuts to get within cap if need be. He sold on the 22nd at 10:22am EDT, so you had until the 23rd at 10:22am to assign longer contract.

oh.. yeah I guess so. I was actually waiting on you to give me the "thumbs-up" that the bid was won because I thought something funny happens to the bid clock on Fridays and Saturdays? Like it went to 48 hours .. or is suspended until after the weekend games, etc..

As the In-Season bidding rules plainly state:
"If a player's 24 hour challenge period hasn't expired prior to 11:59pm on Saturday, bidding on that player will suspend until the following Tuesday at 12:00am when the 24 hour clock will resume."

Thursday games throw a loop into things, but Sunday games have always been pretty clear.

The clock definitely does not wait for me to give you a thumb...its up to each owner to manage his own roster and transactions...
