Crap, I thought Friday bids did not sell until Monday and did not want to post in the thread cause I know that throws off the timing. Not a huge deal since this season is a waste anyways but I would have liked to have made this a multi-year deal. Oh, well.

You could cut him, win the bid and sign him to a multi year contract.
