Just realized that I forgot to post the renegotiation of Brown in this thread. Here it is (same as original):

36 Chambers will renegotiate Bryce Brown to 4 years taking his 2012 salary to 300cbs

UGH...and that would put me 3cbs over the cap.

What is the penalty for this? What do I need to do?

You would need to take a 20% cut penalty for the player involved in the trade that put you over. Then you would also need to cut a player to account for this 3 cb's over, plus the 20% additional penalty...technically we would need to veto the trade, but that seems silly, as you would just turn around and make it again...

So should I just take a 20% penalty on the 300cbs (Brown's salary) and then make necessary cuts to get back in line?
