So I forget...is our obligation to RFA salary relieved as soon as a player is put into play, or is it not until player sells and we decline?

When we tender we guarantee a salary unless we let the player go after they are sold.

It's one reason why my bidding is restricted at the moment, I need to know what happens with my own RFA's before I can decide if there is budget to go after others.

Maybe we could consider re-writing the RFA rule next off-season, but I'm not sure if that would be a good or bad move for the league as a whole.

I have no problem with the rule....I like that you have to take responsibility for the salaries until you make decision...makes sense to me

Is the weekend clock in play during RFA? The rules posted on the MFL site didn't cover this or maybe it did and I didn't see it. It does cover the weekend clock for FA in season and off season; each is a different procedure.

Winter hiatus from FF has me SO behind!

Until yesterday whenI looked over my roster on MFL, I had no idea that Jared Cook signed a huge UFA deal in St. Louis (and thereby resolved my bye week issue at TE). Same goes for Shonn Green, who apparently is now in Tennessee backing up Chris Johnson. Had I realized that a month ago I would have cut him during the soft cap period. Duh!

Check your rosters online! The Roster App hasn't been fully updated with NFL Off-season team movement!

That is correct. I also did not know Cook was with St Louis nor Green in Tennessee. I was actually about to decline Fitz until I read that Palmer was in Arizona...glad I caught that one.

Just to be clear, I'm not blaming Pat for the NFL team errors within the app at all, I think we're all responsible to keep up with our own teams. Pat does a GREAT job with the app, keeping up with the player movement within Frenzy is difficult enough, add in the player movement in the NFL and its a HUGE task!

My advice, check your rosters in the app to make sure players are listed with the correct NFL team and alert Patrick if updates need to be made!

I usually do a side to side comparison with the MFL site to find discrepancies and updated player's NFL team...just haven't made it that far yet. It's usually around late April/early May when I tackle this as I'm always in Augusta at the beginning of April.
