Geeks and Mutts traded Ken Britt for Carlos Dunlap + Lamar Miller. Mutts reneg Dunlap from (435/1) to (585/3).

When re-doing the 2013 app, please leave Jackson and Orakpo on the IR for now..

The IR for 2013 is not open yet, so no player can be on IR yet:

The 1st available date to list a player on IR is around August 30 at 12:00am - this will be a flexible date each year that basically commences the day after the 3rd pre-season games end (4th for the few teams that play 5). This will be approximately 7-10 days before the NFL regular season kicks off.

They are still on IR from last season (2012) and don't have to be moved off of IR until the start of the (2013) rookie draft:

By the start of the next rookie draft, each franchise must clear IR and have no more than thirty players on their roster.

I will readjust 2013 MFL also...I was thinking IR was cleared April 1....I will put all IR people back on IR who were still there at end of 2012 season

This will definitely impact RFA bidding...I think this needs to be discussed further...I believe its better process to start the new bidding year without an IR, since its off season..will move it over to Rules for later discussion....for now, bid on with our extra CB's

Wow! I've always moved them from IR to active at beginning of a new year and not at start of rookie draft. I guess I will have to go back and adjust the roster app accordingly.

I hear yah Pat...I too have always moved off IR when opening up new MFL...like I said, I think we should discuss this further, and make it like we assumed...

MFL is up to date through all FA signings and cuts. Please verify your team is correct before declarations are made. You will be responsible for any mistakes made on mine or Pat's part, so don't rely soley on us...thanks..

Please double check your roster to make sure years were assigned and players promoted properly.

Right now I am showing 3 violations:

• Gunslingers - 1 year over the Taxi Squad Contract Years limit

• Greatshepski - Minimum Active Roster IOP violation

• Floyds - Minimum Active Roster IDP violation

DOH!! I was too busy keeping track of others under the minimums, I neglected to keep track of my own...damn...

So looks like both Shep and I have a permanent 250cb penalty, in addition, will carry a temporary 250cb penalty until we get back to minimums....

Don't you have 24 hours to get to those minimums or does it hit right at declaration time? I was thinking you had 24 hours unless I overlooked something in the rules.

well, 24 hours from time of infraction...24 hours to get a FA..so our only options would be to make a trade, or move up a TS/PS player...I'll have to look at my roster...I have two, so maybe..
