Oh he will get majority of carries IF he stays healthy, which is really the BIG IF. They did not select a high profile RB in Draft, and latest news from RotoWorld states:
The Panthers renegotiated Jonathan Stewart's contract in late January.
Stewart's fully guaranteed $1 million 2013 base salary was lowered to $715,000, while he received a $2.5 million "signing bonus." That money was culled from future bonuses in Stewart's six-year, $37.811 million deal. His $1.5 million 2014 base salary is also now fully guaranteed. It's further proof DeAngelo Williams will likely be a post-June 1 cut.

But yah, its all IF right now, but I gotta hope for something to get THE Mighty Chunks back on top, to become 1st Frenzy team to go 1st to last to 1st again in back-to-back-to-back seasons...

FWIW, if I didn't land Gore I would have kept JStew in play. I also would have tossed MJD into the market.

All signs point to JStew being the RB1 and Deangelo being released. That said, as Burt said, injury issues are the bigger concern with him as he struggles to stay healthy.

All that being said, I think it is a great price if he works his way into the RB1 role. I would have kept him but we have other needs that should be addressed. Or I could have cut Mathews (the bum) and kept Stewart. I'll give the man of glass one more year.
