2013-14 MFL games schedule
 

OK, so it looks like the NFL added at least one more bye week....which makes it impossible to schedule all of our division games on Bye weeks. Bye weeks run from Week 4 through week 13

So I moved our double header from week 7 to week 3. I will need to figure out how to reshedule the games played on double header, as right now one is division game, one is non-division game. IF I can figure out how, then that leaves us with one Division game having to be on a bye week.

I can make it so that it is Bye week with only 2 teams on Bye, which are weeks 4, 6, 7 and 11.

But how to decide which one?
I can get together with Bobby before games starts and draw from a hat, or can go online to one of the free dice rolling sites...

any suggestions?

I am going to have to manually adjust the schedule. So in addition to deciding which BYE week to have the divisional game, we also need to decide whether to keep the double header in Week 3, and thus play same division foe twice in 3 weeks, or move the double header to the last game of the year.

thoughts on both of these?

I would like to get this done before Monday...next week will be crazy for me trying to get all rookies and contracts entered...

I am fine with either option. If I had to choose, I may lean towards having the double header at the end of the schedule as it could bring big changes in the playoff seeding late in the season, so maybe it brings more excitement down the stretch run.

My 2 cents...but overall I am fine either way.

no preference for bye week 4,6,7 or 11.

Double header is fine either way, but probably more interesting at the end.

Either way is ok with me, however the earlier double header would probably give most teams more healthy players to choose from.

OK...with not even half the league posting their input, we have two leaning towards end of year, one front of the year...

I am just going to put the weeks that do have a division game during a bye week in a randomizer site, and have it select which week will remain in a bye week...the rest will be moved around..I have not looked at matchups each week, so ya'all are just going to have to rely on my honor that the outcome was not calculated to my advantage...

sounds good. I'm sure half the league will like the random assignments, and half will hate them.

I'll use FFToolbox random draft order...will use 4 teams...team 1 = week 4, team 2 = week 6 , team 3 = week 7 and team 4 = week 11. Whichever team is selected as #1 pick, this will be the bye week we schedule a division game...I will swap the nearest bye week game with this week, and move all the other weeks to the nearest non bye weeks. If the selected team is week 4 or 6, I will schedule the double header to the end of the year....if the selected team is week 7 or 11, the double header will be first of the year...

I'll email the results to Jim and Patrick...one can post the results here, and the other can confirm...hopefully this can get done today, so I can make the adjustments tomorrow...you may have to reset your lineups...

OK..change of plans...based on the Great and Powerful Wizard of Preds comments in http://www.predsff.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22592, I am going to mirror the Frenzy schdule...Weeks 1-3 will be division games. Double header will be week 13 with one Division and one non division game. Weeks 7 and 11 will be the other Division games, and those are two of the 4 weeks with only 2 NFL teams on bye.
