I know what I'm going to do, but kinda feel like stretching it out a day or two and see what happens with Jordy. Kinda like the idea of Jordy landing in the division and making Matt have a more difficult position with the cap, so perhaps I should decline Marshall so Bobby doesn't jump in... or I could match and let Bobby snag Nelson from Matt. I kinda feel like the swing vote on Survivor LOL, pandering to the TV crews on which way to align... we'll see, no declaration will be forthcoming tonight.

In some respects I'm like Jim, if I bid on a player I want him ;) . No guarantee Jordy will be available to me. To use a poker analogy , when all my chips are in the pot I want my opponent to fold. My chips are in the pot on Marshall so fold and take the 2nd round comp pick. All the experts are saying this draft is deep at the WR position.

What if you match Marshall and land Fitz? You're loaded at WR and short on cap. What a conundrum. Glad I'm not having to make this decision. ;)

OK, here's the deal, I'll post a decline or match tomorrow afternoon... does that work for you? Works for me.

Oh snap, but you need to decide on claiming Jordy by 12:56pm... I guess the ball is in your court.

Let's review your options:

1 claim Jordy, potentially land Marshall too and have no cap
2 claim Jordy, lose out on Marshall and go after the remaining secondary WRs
3 don't claim Jordy, but do land Marshall (your best case scenario)
4 don't claim Jordy, lose out on Marshall (worst case scenario)

So which will it be? I'm going to wait till you decide on Jordy before posting my match or decline. :P

I've made my decision, just going to sleep on it. Why would my decision effect whether you match or decline. I'm making my decision based on what's best for me.

My worst case is not that bad, My WRs will be A. Johnson, Jordy and Marshall along with Torrey Smith and 1400cb or so left.

I think we all expected the Dogs to put in a claim on Jordy, but it was fun to let it play out a bit.

Now what do the Predators do with Brandon, I'm sure everyone expects us to match right?

Well... we'll see. Remember the players we let walk last year (Brady, VJax and Hawks D). You know we love those 1st rd comp picks right?!

We'll just wait a bit more before making a declaration.

Although Your decision will to some degree effect my future decisions I'm comfortable with however it turns out. Also i agree, we all like those 1st round comp picks.

Last off-season, Vincent Jackson landed a 2200cb contract as a RFA and the Predators let him walk as we did not feel he was a top 5-10 elite WR to earn that contract. We were right as VJax finished at 15th overall among WR's.

The irony of last season is that the Predators are strong believers that a strong, elite WR corps is necessary for success in the Frenzy, and we let a very good WR walk. We had a deep WR corp, so in some ways we could afford to do that, however, we were missing that elite WR at the top.

So last October we were aggressive in trading for the missing piece to building a championship team... that missing piece was Brandon Marshall, an elite, stud top 5-10 (at many points top 3) WR.

Of course we warmly welcome Brandon back to the reigning Frenzy Champion Parkwood Predators. We view him as an integral piece of the puzzle in our quest to repeat, and happily MATCH his 2200cb contract.

I know, the match is a shocking surprise right?

C'mon, I haven't been nearly as cocky, boastful or cut-throat as in previous years, but I'd be remiss if I didn't allow the organization to mention last years championship title a little here and there!
