Williams is a down hill runner, looking to give the Giants some power up the middle. With uncertainty to David Wilson's health, Peyton Hillis's and Rashard Jennings's question marks as feature backs, Williams could get some playing time early. And as a Heisman Trophy finalist, why not?

Saw that you were having discussions with Mashers...thought for sure this was Scott's target...I guess he did not have enough ammo?

There were discussions but it was more Brandon wanting a player than me moving up. It just didn't work.

I had a different target in mind. Don't know if Williams is the answers so why compound the Wilson debacle. Kind compounding Beanie failures with Ryan Williams right Burt

I was hoping for an established guy to plug in. In the end, I like what I have read about Williams. Not sure he is a plug in guy this year, but worth a look.

All he has to do is beat out Rashad Jennings and David Wilsons neck. I would have taken that bet but Terrance West fit my situation better.
