Shogun Assassins Sold!

After months of speculation about their ownership, an agreement has been reached to sell the Assassins franchise to a Bay Area investment group led by principle owner, Jason Gordon. As part of the deal, the league has given approval to Mr. Gordon to move the team to the San Francisco Bay Area.
"We feel that the Assassins belong to the entire Bay Area and we didn't want to choose between San Francisco or Oakland," said Mr. Gordon in an interview, "So we decided to put it in the middle of the bay!"

So starting with the 2016 season, the Assassins franchise will now be known as the Alcatraz Assassins. Questions still remain about the ramifications of destroying such a historic site, and the logistical concerns of having a stadium on a barren island. Mr. Gordon's response to these concerns? "Don't worry about it. It's gonna be awesome!"

Welcome aboard Jason.. if China can build an island in the South China Sea I'm sure you pull this off. You already have the island just maybe need to expand it a little.
