I was very hesitant to match at this price, but I think Poz can still be productive this year so we will pay him top dollar for one final year of service. When he's on the field he's a tackle machine. Hopefully he stays healthy this season.

I figured after Gunslingers matched D. Jackson that you would match. Also Burt kind of set the bar on Bowman.

My defense could be in bad shape this year unless I pull a stud LB out of my somewhere.

I am still baffled after 10plus years people are hesitant to pay LB as much as WR. Bowman would have ranked as 4th in points if he were a WR. Yet 1500 is deemed high for 284 points, but 2800 is justified for Edelman, who has NEVER broken 200 points in a season

I thought about matching Bowman but would have to cut Fitzgerald. I figured I had a better shot at picking up a LB than a WR just because of the number available.

Also I think Thomas Davis is finished in CAR and Shaq Thompson could be pretty good.
