Once the draft boards have been reset, the TommyKnockers take RB Paul Perkins of the New York Football Giants as their first round pick. He's been compared to Devonta Freeman as a quick, competitive inside runner. Hopefully this NYG RB will not flame out like the last NYG RB the TommyKnockers drafted has.

Hence the draft choice. When you look at needs and the guys available early aren't spectacular you start looking at how long until they might be able to prove themselves.

At 1.8, I don't think it's a bad pick. Good situation and he's got some ability. My biggest fear if I were you would be that the new head coach doesn't utilize the RB as much as Coughlin used to.
