Frenzy Playoff Scenarios after week 13
 

Attached is a W/L record for each team this season. If I missed a scenario or made an error somewhere let me know!

The scenarios for 1 of the top 5 seeds are:

Opihi clinched playoff berth, needs a win or Predators loss to clinch East division. A win also guarantees division and top seed

Cards clinched West, can win top seed with win and Opihi loss

Chickens clinched playoff berth, wins Central with a win or Swords loss

Swords wins Central with a win and Chickens loss, can miss playoffs with a loss and Preds & Bees wins

Preds can win East with a win and Opihi loss, can earn no higher than 3rd seed, can miss playoffs entirely with a loss & Bees win

Bees needs a win and Preds or Swords loss

Scorpions needs a win and losses by Preds & Swords

Dogs needs a win and losses by Preds, Swords & Scorpions (might need other help as well)

For the All Play 6th seed the Dogs have a large lead with 96 wins and the next closest being the Swords and Bees (assuming the Dogs miss out on a top 5).

Not sure I want Bee in playoffs...but I want (hope) for a bye...a win would secure that...a Card loss opens tons of scenarios where we may not get a bye...yikes...

If I understand the all play thing I need 3 All Play wins to to make the tourney.

Yes 3 would guarantee you a playoff spot, as would the Swords losing at least 3, or the Bees losing at least 1. Or some combination of the above.

I voted for All Play but didn't understand how it worked. I thought it had something to do with each positions score (QB against QB ect) against other teams position scores.

I still think it's a good indication of the overall strength of a team. You can have a solid, competitive team that loses some close ones to good teams, and still gets rewarded with a playoff birth. As opposed to being in a weaker division and having a better record (ala the NFC East for so many years, or the NFC South a few years ago, etc.).

Well after a one year absence, the Preds have limped their way back into the Post-Season with a 9-5 record and will be seeded either 3rd, 4th or 5th. If the Opihi win over the Bees the Preds will be the 4 or 5 seed. If they lose we'll be 3rd seed and Eastern Division winners.

Week 15 the Preds will be facing either the Swords/Bees whom are battling for the 4/5 seeds (or missing the playoffs entirely), or Dogs (who will be the 6th seed). I have to be honest, I don't really like our chances against any of them regardless of what seed we have. Round 1 of the playoffs will be a major challenge either way.

The Opihi can still win the 1 seed with a win over the Bees, or the 4 seed with a loss.

All-Play means little to the Chickens who will win the 1 seed with an Opihi loss, despite a below .500 All-Play record! if the Opihi pull out a win the Chickens will be the 3 seed.

The Cards will be 2 seed and have earned a week 15 bye.

The current seeding heading into the Sunday night game:

The Chickens have earned a week 15 bye and will either be the 1 seed with an Opihi loss or the 2 seed with an Opihi win.

The Cards will be the 2 seed with an Opihi loss or 3 seed with an Opihi win.

The Preds will be either the 3, 4 or 5 seed

The Swords can finish as the 4 or 5 seed with a win or out of the playoffs with the 7th seed with a loss and a Bees win.

The Bees can finish as the 5 seed with a win or out of the playoffs as the 7th or 8th seed with a loss.

OK fixed... sub-consciously my brain just couldn't fathom that the Chunky Chickens ate their way to a 10-4 record despite a sub .500 All Play Record. I kept thinking you were 9-5.

Pretty crazy that the only thing certain in the top 6 is the Dogs with the 6th seed! A lot hinges on Tom Brady and the Opihi against the Bees and Edelman tonight!

74-80 is the best you can finish in All-Play... absolutely amazing strokes of matchup luck that netted you a 10-4 record! All that said, there's no question you're squad is much stronger now than earlier in the season. Definitely a legit threat to win it all, especially with the bye.

I would prefer a bye...but think bees might be the stronger team...like my matchups next week if we have to play...either way - good luck tonight boys and to those on to the post season...waiting to see extent of Gordons injury...not good timing as was Cooks drop in the endzone...ugh....

Gordon could be week to week, so maybe not so bad Chuck.

I get Jeffery back this week, just in time for the 'offs, so I am happy and will be running on full cylinders, with everyone seemingly healthy and clean....

Maybe Jeffery can draw the coverage away from Meredith. Seems like defenses determine who the #1 receivers are.
