1.13 RB Jamaal Williams, GB
 

I know I'm picking him earlier than most mock-drafts (or rookie ranks), but don't think he'll be there at the 2.10 spot when I pick next.

This guy is NFL-ready. He leaves BYU as the top rushing back in school history in rushing attempts, yards, 100-yard games, and single game rushing yards. He won't start as the lead back in Green Bay (Montgomery has that spot), but could very well finish the season there... and hold on to it for many seasons to come. We'll see... Plus, I love this guy's character, commitment, and heart. Solid young man.

Williams was my target at 2.01, but I had Kamara just in front of him.

I chose not to touch another Packer RB in round 1 after the Lacy experiment failed. May turn out, may not, the other rookie RB may have just a big a chance to snag the starting gig in time. I would have thought about him more seriously at 2.08.
