I don't have 5 among tight ends, kickers, and D/ST units. I think Britt was my last aquired player.

Yep, you're good Nate. The league has progressed to the point where that rule isn't necessary anymore (teams generally spend at least 500 on those positions combined. It was originally implemented when we increased the league roster size from 16 to 18 and the cap by 500cbs so we could accommodate backups at those positions. That was well over a decade ago and abuse of those 500cbs or those roster positions isn't an issue.

It was a difficult rule to remember and keep track of, and I for one am glad it was voted out last year and took effect this season (even though I'm currently carrying 6 players at those positions and spending over 1200cbs)!

I thought we might have taken that rule out but I looked in the rules and it was still there so wasn't sure.

I saw that also. The red part clearly explains the new roster update but the old restrictions are listed elsewhere in the body of the rule document in regular colored type.
I'm not complaining - I tried to tackle the rules document in the past without much luck.
