Apparently Mike Evans had similar thoughts as Adams and is looking for darker pastures to peck his craft as he’s signed an offer sheet with the leagues newest and very active ownership group. Will the Zombie Pirates get their guy? Can the Chickens afford to keep both Evans and Adams? Or will a 1st round Comp Pick be enough for the Chickens to go in an entirely new direction with 3 new starting. WRs in 2019 (they let Cooks sign elsewhere earlier this off-season).

The Chickens have 72 hours to match from the time Evans signed on the dotted line to join the undead pillagers.

For the first hour after we brought Mike back to the Coop, all we could get out of him was "Avast Ye Matey". Once he finally sobered up (he still refused to take off his eye patch, but he put the Chicken mascot back in his pen - he thought it was a parrot), we were finally able to discuss his offer sheet and his desire to be a Pirate.
"But Butcher, do you realize Chickens and Pirates play each other in Frenzy season Week 3, which begins on September 19th, which happens to be "Talk Like A Pirate Day"? This is Karma Krama"

There was no swaying him on his desire to be a Pirate, so management has decided to grant Mr. Evans his wish, and we will therefore...

DECLINE.

Wow!!! Talk about draft capital...and a whole new direction...there is some talent in the coop TS, but not what just got walked out the front door...I'm guessing we'll see the strategy at some point...lol

The Zombie Pirates thank the Butcher for allowing Mr. Evans to join our crew of cutthroats, bandits, and buccaneers. Now to see if we can add a raider to our crew.

Just don't forget the 14 player minimum roster thingy within cap boundaries...them rookies are not free in the draft either...

What 14 player min?
I know of the 13 Player Min (1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DT) + 4 more. Also have allowances for my Rookie Draftees - have room on TS and PS, if needed.
Also understand the Salary/Contract Cap. But not sure what the 14 player Min roster within cap boundaries is? I am rewriting the rules in word to better understand, but have not come across that rule yet.

13 and up to 5 additional players on the active roster (not 4).

I meant "base 9" for required positions + 4 = 13 minimum. + 5 to hit the 18 Max.

More like 1.13, 3.13, and 4.13 at the moment. The 4 will slide down if a team(s) ends up with only 4th rd comps since your cb differential (+1450) was used as the tie breaker to get to 3.13 at the moment.
