Not sure why but that reminded me of a baseball trade from many years ago. A player was traded to team "A" for a player to be named later. At the end of the season team "A" sent the player back to complete their trade obligation.

Yep, and I proposed. Needed to get under the cap quickly and the trade saved me 198 cb’s
Instead of cut penalty. I didn’t want to run out of time dickering and gambled that Matt won’t take my guy at 3.09 before I pick 3.10 and 3.11.

No, it is correct.

I was 3.09 and 3.10 and Matt was 3.11 before the trade and I moved back 2 spots to save the 198 cb cut penalty.
Now Matt picks 3.09 and I pick 3.10 and 3.11.
Either way DeSean Jackson was going to be bumped to keep me under the cap after Chuck declined Tate's offer sheet.

No doubt you guys should be lining up to trade with the Burners!!!
