I'm really confused. My board is showing Burts bid of 2600 at 9:58pm on Dec. 20, then his post saying he won Perriman at 11:06pm again on the 20th and Swords' follow up message the next morning of the 21st.

But it hadn't been 24 hours. So the last person to bid wins, regardless of how recent the last bid was? Why does anyone bid before 11:59pm the night before the game?

During playoffs, It's 24 hour clock until the day before the game.
Day before the game, bidding ends at 11:59 pm est if player is still in play
