You need to free up another contract year to promote TJ. Adding him to your roster puts you at 39 years (38 plus 1 of Mack's 2 years on IR). Only 1 year is taken off when a player goes on IR. Unfortunately, MFL doesn't show that.

Roster app shows there is enough room. I'll compare with MFL to see what the difference is.

Nevermind. I missed the Drake trade...so yes this move is invalid and Hockenson remains on Wolverines' TS

Kinda Stupid the Years dont show everything counted cuz last I checked 34+4 is 38 not 39 must be new math and should really get fixed so it shows the the correct roster years .I will make the adjustment tho .

MFL subtracts all years when a player is placed on IR. Our league rule is that only 1 year is subtracted. Unfortunately, that's not an option in MFL, which is why keeping up with the roster app is most important for each team. That's the most accurate way to track everything.

I've asked MFL to allow this on their site, and they said they will take it into consideration. Not holding out hope though. Been asking them to allow us to add players directly to the Taxi slots (for probably 10 years now) and that has not been done yet.

Anyway - the 50% of salary is added back, but years are not, since MFL only allows for a percentage of years added back.

Maybe to ease confusion, we can adjust to add back 50% of years? Just something to consider in off season maybe.

Ultimately, through MFL and the App we try to keep things in synch, ultimately, each teams owner is responsible for the management of their team, and these other things are tools to help.

We always give some leeway to new owners as they learn the system, as this is complicated league.

The rule book is accessible through this site, and also on MFL - so if any doubt, take a gander.
