*UNOFFICIAL* Cut was not made in time. McGee sold Aug 6 at 12:37 PM and Donovin Darius was released Aug 7 at 7:56 PM. McGee should be a FA.

McGee remains a UFA. Floyds get hit with the 20% Cap Penalty for the release, additionally, they are banned from bidding on McGee for 30 days.

Start a new auction if you want to bid on McGee.

First time since this freakin auction started that I have been without computer access for a weekend, and this crap happens. I was waiting to release someone until I had won the bid. I know the rules are clear about the clock and all, but I got home last night, read I needed to release someone, did it, then checked the rules, because I also thought the clock stopped during weekends. My bad there.

Can I revoke my release of Darius then, since I had no intention of releasing him if I had lost the McGee bidding?

I think precedence has been set in the Frenzy that if the purpose of the drop was to free cap space for a player later to be disallowed, the waiver can be reversed, but I'll defer to the SAC'D rules enforcers.

I agree that we can follow past Frenzy precedent, in which case the release of Darius can and will be voided.
