Better than that. He's got a few pounds to gain, but at 7 lbs, 15 ounces and a sturdy 21 1/2 inches in height (well if he were standing), Heath DeRouchie is the newest addition to The Grief team as of 3:03 AM 4/27/06.

Heath and his agent (mother - Alissa) are well.

However, owner Noah is taking a few days away from the board to aquaint himself with his new player (and try to get some sleep and give his other boy Cedrick (2) some attention as well).

Congrats, Noah. I've got a couple of boys 2 years apart from each other. The first two lines of Dickens' "A Tale of Two Cities" will tell you all you need to know about what you are in for.

Heath and Cedrick... not much success in the NFL with those names of late... but here's hoping your boys can turn it around for the "next" generation.

3AM was tough. She was exhausted and so was I. I took a 30 min nap in a rocking chair around 8AM when MIL and FIL got there. Didn't sleep again till that night.

Caffine is my friend.

Yeah they are home and doing well.

Alissa had a spinal headache. I had never heard of this before, but apparently it is a risk of people who get spinals that the spinal fluid leaks out and as a result she gets a debilitating headache. She is feeling better now.

I was very jealous because they gave her a caffine drip to help with the pain. 600mg of cafinated goodness. I requested one but they turned me down.

Congrats Skip. I just had a daughter in November, so I'm know the feeling of the lack of sleep. I'm done with it for now, but it is close enough to remember the dreariness.

Just think, another 2-3 months and you'll get a full 7-8 hours at a time again.
