I have internally debated the past 2+ days what to do with the Seattle defense. On one hand, they are a top 5 Defense, and being paid like one. I have plenty of cap room so this should be an easy match, however, on the other hand, I could decline, and get an 8th compensation point, giving me enough for a 1st rd comp pick.

Declining, is essentially like trading the Seattle D along with 2nd and 3rd comp picks for a 1st rd comp pick. In a strong draft this would be an easy call, but this is a pretty weak draft class and I already have 2 1sts (7 and 10). Not sure adding pick 13 really does much for me.

I'm still debating what to do even as I write this. I REALLY like Seattle's D for 2013 and think they may end up as the #1 D, and most assuredly again in the top 5. They are probably the safest bet to return as a top 5 D in 2013. This is not an easy call. Ugh.

I need a few more hours to debate this out.
