I think it's fair to raise a concern, as a fellow owner in this league, for an issue that you think is worth addressing for the good of the league. I take umbrage, however, when you start name-calling fellow owners.
One of the "shit owners" that you refer to is serving this country in the US Navy, and has been away from his family for 3/4 of the entire time he's been an owner in this league. He's currently deployed on a sub somewhere under the surface of the world's seas, serving to protect freedom. When I initially asked him about his interest in taking over a team in this league, he was not scheduled to be deployed like he has been... but the government has seen to change that, which, of course, was beyond his control.
When I noticed that he wasn't able to attend to the needs of the team like we've come to expect from Frenzy owners, I enlisted the help of the other "shit owner" to see the team through this season. This owner is also the owner of a small business (yard care & landscaping) that keeps him outside for long hours every day. He's in another (less demanding) league of mine, so I thought it would be a good fit. He's also the father of a newborn baby, and committed to spending time with his family during the few hours he is home. So in hindsight, this has not been the best fit either.
Burt and I have already been in discussion about the future of this team.
And I can guarantee you that the ACINT owners have not been intentionally tanking to receive the top draft pick.
So (guess this isn't "short and sweet" like I had hoped)... as far as things stand now, there will not be a lottery for the first pick, unless the league moves to cast another vote for NEXT season.

In no ways was I referring to the shit owners personally, just their lack of attention to their teams.
We all respect Joe and thank him for his service in the Navy, that's not in question. His inability to tender to his team however, because of his duties makes him a poor choice for an owner in this particular league.
Bringing in a 2nd own was great, unfortunately the 2nd owner might as well be deployed on a sub himself because he's pretty much ignored the team all season.
It doesn't take hours to put in a few bids here, make a couple lineup moves there, etc. I probably put in less than 15 minutes a week into my team on average, but I never put in lineups consisting of players being out or on bye, and keep quick tabs on UFA's and current bidding for potential roster improvements.
Owner #2's lack of ability to devote the small amount of time to even make small adjustments to keep his team somewhat competitive makes him a shit owner. I don't care if he runs a small business and works long days, most of us do that. If he can't keep tabs, than he's a bad fit.
Sorry, but it just annoyed me when I saw the same thing repeat yet another week with this team.
