I'm in 4 fantasy leagues. I'm in the playoffs in 3 of the 4 (Frenzy being the only one I missed out on) going into this week. In all three leagues, I just happened to be going up against Jamaal Charles. Seriously? What kind of odds are those?
In Yahoo league A (non-ppr), I put up my best score of the year 138; however my opponent put up 146 (Charles 51.5). C'mon, man!
In Yahoo league B, I ran up against this: Foles, Charles, L.Bell, Garcon, K.Allen, C.Patterson, Olsen, Novak and Seahawks (220 points) which broke the 3-year, one week scoring record of 163. That record should stand through the Apocalypse.
Then comes SACD, where my opponent (Hunters) has two players put up goose-eggs, but that's easily countered when you have Charles, Foles and Murray put up 54% of your 243 points (with Tucker left to go nonetheless).
Unlike my Yahoo leagues, at least I have a sliver of hope in SACD that Megatron can put up some week-8-caliber numbers again. In the immortal words of Mike & the Mechanics: "All I need is a miracle, all I need is you (Megatron)."
