However, like Hans said this also pushes LB numbers up so I don't think the gap is trimmed much at all. Look at the INTs between the top 10 LBs to the top 10 DBs. The top 10 LBs combined for 27 INTs where the top 10 DBs combined for 24 INTs. I haven't looked at sacks yet but overall this doesn't seem to do much to the gaps between positions but it does push all defense up a good amount.
