When I figured those Rookie Bonuses they got the bonus the year they were reneged. My thinking is when they are reneged they are no longer under their original contract so no bonus is applied.

I reneged D.Murray at the end of the 2013 season and he got a bonus based on his year 2013 performance. Once I reneged him he was no longer under his original contract.
