Wondering how we handled these in the past. I couldn't really find anything in rules, but I see where you are coming from.

I viewed him as being sold during In-Season FA (regardless of when bidding started). Thus selling on 9/3 at 9:50am ET, in which years and moves would need to be declared by 9/4 9:50am ET.
