Hey kids,

Just cuz I like being that guy:

Like most of you guys, I'm in other leagues as well. One of them is going on 18 years with mostly the same crew, all from footballguys.com from back in the day. The owners are still uber-involved, hardcore dynasty guys.

In that league, we have gotten fairly creative with our trades. One common type of trade we see is that of the "conditional pick". Two examples:

Example A:
Player A gives Josh Gordon.
Player B gives a conditional pick.
*If Josh Gordon is active for 8 or more games in the 2017 season, Player B will give his 2017 2nd. Otherwise Player B will give his 2017 4th.

Example B:
Player A gives Marshawn Lynch and his 2018 1st.
Player B gives his 2018 1st and Player C's 2018 1st.
*Player A will receive the best two of these three picks, Player B will receive the worst of these three picks.

Are these types of trades performed in SAC'D? If not, are they permitted?

I ask as one of my other leagues has opted not to allow these due to "complications of the rulebook". This is also a league with much less active ownership. But in jaWs (the active league) the commishes have no problem picking up the work of tracking this as they participate in these trades as well.

Just wondering as I try and move and shake some things up here.
