Washington was highly productive at Oklahoma State with fellow rookie QB Mason Rudolph (also drafted by the Steelers). He has an excellent opportunity to learn from a likely HOFer (similar to Christian Kirk / Larry Fitzgerald in Arizona) and walks into a NFL system that grooms great WRs. Big Ben may be in his waning years, however, if Rudolph is the heir apparent, JW already has an edge with the great history they have together in college.
For the past couple weeks it's felt strange not having a Steeler WR on the Preds. Could Washington be Antonio Brown's future replacement on both the Steelers and the Preds? Probably not quite that elite level, but I think he has solid WR2 potential in the Frenzy.
Welcome to Buffalo JW!
