Im really conflicted on this decision, it could go either way. Last season I had cap space to get RBs; lot of good that did me when DJ went down. I gave away the back kennel to move up 3 spots in the draft to get the "Rolls" Royce (love that nick name, worth the price of admission right there), so I could match if I determined it was the right move. Although there are a couple of worthy RBs in FA, no guarantee I could land one of them.

Tyreek is a sure thing (roster wise) and he was the #6 WR last year playing with a QB who didn't like to throw long; that won't be a problem playing with the young gunslinger. If Mahomes sees Tyreek open deep he's not gonna throw over the middle short to Kelce.

So the Dogs could potentially play the season short on RBs and forced to play 4 WRs as a base set. Or maybe play the FA RB game and end up with a roster full of 3/4 tier guys.

I did a quick look at the draft choices available at 1.16 and nothing caught my attention. Also I potentially need a low 2nd round pick next season to fulfill my obligation to the Chickens (final installment on the back kennel deal).
