Too Many Transactions to Keep Track

Today the Insects have announced several moves which will likely impact the rest of the team for the final half of the season. The team was forced to make room after they were assessed a 500 cb penalty for not having 5 TE/PK/DEF after they cut TE Bubba Franks on Tuesday which dropped them to 4 TE/PK/DEF. Barring any trades this should be the final Insect team. Here is a rundown of the transactions today:

- Assessing of 500cb Penalty: With their remaining cap room and what was left over after the cutting of Bubba Franks the Insects had 622 cbs to take the 500 cb hit.

Remaining: 122 cbs

-Signing of Arizona DEF: In order to meet the 5 TE/PK/DEF requirement the Insects signed the Arizona DEF to a 1 year deal for 100cbs.

Remaining: 92 cbs

- Release of WR Tim Brown: With the signing of WR Steve Smith the Insects felt againg WR Tim brown was expendable.

Remainng: 272 cbs

-Release of QB Tim Couch: After signing veteran QB Steve Blake and after unspectacular performances the Insects release Couch and his 4 year deal to free up contract years.

Remaing: 362 cbs

-Activation of WR Jerry Porter: FInally healthy after a sports hernia. The Insects activated WR Jerry POrter who is expected to start this week.

Remaining: 190 cbs
