So Burt and website guys - can our system even handle a covid opt out pool of players??? Or do we manually keep a list of those players w/contract details in a thread? It seems like Burt is implying opt outs will freeze completely with $$$ and years? Is that what you are proposing?

The real NFL is only imposing a guaranteed money point of fact. The money rolls over even if player goes to another team, which I don't know how they can impose that on a new team. Messy if you ask me. NFL contracts and FA status tolls. I only mention this because we like to mirror them as much as reasonably possible.

That all being said as IR guy - I like covid guys following our standard IR rules with the added slots. The issue is how many? Why would we restrict the number when they are covid identified? It's not gonna be a secret. Why 2 or 3 or 10, just a thought.

The opt outs need a more immediate solution hopefully based on what our software can or cannot do...or a manual solution we agree on...
