I'm defending the original intent of the vote, which supposed to be a simple clarity and has blown up when it really shouldn't have. Heck you want to vote to make it apply to all TS/PS eligible players I'll gladly take advantage of that amnesty and bury Singleton on the TS then cut him with no cap hit. I mean theoretically, any TS eligible player could be demoted and then cut without penalty under that format, not just the players in question for you, Jim and Pat.
I'll also note that I already traded away a first already, and may yet trade away another one. Like all teams, I only have 5 TS and 5 PS slots, and limited cap and years available on the active roster. It's highly likely I move some of my picks or take players I end up having to release for lack of roster space, cap and years.
This honestly has no impact on my decision making, but you can look at it whatever way you wish.
